The problem
Vendors send bills of quantities (BOQs) in their own formats. Checking each line by hand against the master part list took hours, and mistakes still slipped through.
The solution
A macro-enabled workbook that imports any vendor BOQ, normalises part numbers (ignoring leading zeros), matches each line to the master list, and highlights price, quantity and description mismatches.
